In Way of the Hunter, there are places where you can go and check out the echo sounds. You might be already familiar with these as when you start the game the first echo location is part of the mission. However, where are the other echo locations?
In this guide, I will tell you all the echo spots in Way of the Hunter’s Nez Perce Valley which will unlock AHOOOOOOOOOY! achievement.

AHOOOOOOOOOY! Achievement in Way of the Hunter
To get the AHOOOOOOOOOY! achievement in Way of the Hunter you need to visit all the echo spots on the Nez Perce Valley. There are a total of seven echo spots you need to visit and interact with before unlocking the AHOOOOY achievement.
Idaho Collectibles
The echoes are Idaho Collectibles. Visiting and interacting with all the echo spots unlock the In an Earshot perk that enables you to hear animals at 20% greater distances. It will also unlock the AHOOOOOOOOOY! achievement.
Way of the Hunter: All Echo Spots
Echo Location 1
The first echo spot is near the Bear Den Ranch. You need to follow the road to the north along the river. Where the road splits you have to go up the mountain to find the first echo spot.
This location is merely for reference as most of the players will have visited this site because it is one of the earliest compulsory missions.
Echo Location 2
The second echo spot is the nearest to Yi’s Cabin. From Yi’s Cabin travel towards White Pine Orchard and there should be extra land on that path containing a lake. In its mountains, you will find the second echo spot.
Echo Location 3
The third echo spot is located near Yi’s Cabin. From there you need to head South to the path that is closed and has a dead end. Before the path’s first water reserve there are mountains where you will find the echo spot.
Echo Location 4
The fourth echo spot is located near Vlkov’s Cabin. You need to head north from the cabin where you will find a water reserve. A couple of paths emerging from the water reserve lead up the mountain where you will find the echo spot.
Echo Location 5
From Vlkov’s cabin go to the West with huge mountains. Above the campsite, in the mountains is where you will find the echo spot.
Echo Location 6
Echo spot number six is near Dustin’s Cabin. Take the road going South and to your right, you will find huge mountains that is where you find echo location six.
Echo Location 7
From Dustin’s Cabin go to North West where you will find a water reserve. Passing the water reserve you will find a couple of paths that lead to the last location of the echo spot.
