In ARK Fjordur Magmasaur is a dinosaur that you really need to tame, but as it isn’t tameable you can only find its eggs and incubate them in order to have them. In this guide, we will tell you where you can find Magmasaur nests, which is where their eggs are located.
The harder a dinosaur is to kill/tame in ARK Survival the better it is. Going with the same rule as Magmasaurs are extremely hard to kill and tame there are a lot of rewards when done successfully. A Magmasaur acts as a mobile forge and can smelt tons of raw materials. Moreover, due to a high HP, Magmasaurs also act as a Tank in the game with many high damage dealing attacks.

Where to Find Magmasaur Eggs & Their Nest
The Magmasaur eggs and nests are located in a cave inside the Volcanic Biome of Fjordur at the coordinates 96 and 80. Here you’ll see a cave entrance with lava flowing out of it. Follow the straight path into it, and at the very end, you’ll find Magmasaur nests with their eggs.
Stealing Magmasaur eggs isn’t easy and you’ll either need to be quite stealthy or have decent tamed dinosaurs like Rex or Giganotosaurus. You could also use a flying dinosaur to steal the eggs.
Whatever path you choose it is advised not to start a fight where Magmasaur spawns because you might die or you might kill high-level Magmasaurs which means only low-level Magmasaur eggs will spawn. If you regularly need Magmasaur eggs, you can place a teleporter in the cave, which you can use to teleport straight into Magmasaur nests.
In the cave where Magmasaur spawns you will need to have heat protection with you because you are in a volcanic biome, and on top of that you are entering a cave that has literally lava coming out of it.
A bonus point for visiting the Magmasaur caves is that you will find tons of resources as well, which you can grab (if you can survive the Magmasaurs).
