A lot of time has passed since everyone discovered the Deep Mine. However, there aren’t in-depth guides about the Deep Mine even though it costs a lot of your Dinks. Hence I decided to make an in-depth guide for you. This way, you will know what you are getting in on.
Dinkum: Deep Mine Complete Guide
First up we will talk about the overview of how you can build and access the Deep Mine. For an in-depth tutorial for accessing the Deep Mine refer to this article: How to access Deep Mine.
How to Access Deep Mine in Dinkum
You can access Deep Mine after having enough experience and levels that will let you build a copper Pickaxe. After which you need to talk to Fletch and get the Deep Mining Licence, get the Deep Mine deed and build the Deep Mine Elevator.
Now you have to go to John’s Shop and buy a Deep Mine Access Card, which will cost you 25,000 Dinks! These cards can only be utilized one time, and the next time you want to go to the Deep Mine, you will have to buy another.

You should never go down the Deep Mine unprepared because the amount of enemies you will have to face is extraordinary. Here are the items that you should take with you:
- Copper or Iron Spear (Basic Spear has poor damage, and it will take a lot of time to kill opponents)
- Copper or Iron Pickaxe

- Cooked Meat
You can add different types of meals or things to eat to your inventory but keep the rest of it empty because you are going to need the space.
Deep Mine Rewards: Why go to the Deep Mine
The first question that comes to mind is why go in there and spend so much money on it. The question is completely valid because there is also added risk of dying and losing all the resources you have, so why go down there anyway?
1. Ores
The first reason to go down to the Deep Mine is for mining. After each section, you will find tons and tons of objects that you can mine. The items that you can mine in Deep Mine are:
- Copper Ore
- Tin Ore
- Iron Ore
The sheer abundance of these materials is a great reason to give the Deep Mine a visit.
2. New Loot
In the Deep Mine, you will find tons of hidden and extra loot. There are only two places that are extremely visible once you go down the Deep Mine that will give you new loot.
The best place where a player can find new loot is the locked rooms. These rooms require Old Keys to open. Once you open the two doors which will cost you two keys, you will find a chest that will contain new loot for you.
Here is a list of some of the items you will find in these chests:
- Vehicle Paints
- Circuit Boards
- Fertilizers
- Iron Hammers
- Statues
- Iron Bars
- Copper Bars
- Flaming Bat
- Mining Helmet
- Batteries
The second place where you can find loot is the hardwood passages or paths. These paths will have a couple of barrels that you need to break. After breaking these barrels you will get a decent variety of wooden planks and some other material.
The third thing you can find in the Deep Mine is a car’s body. Use a hammer to dismantle the body and get some extra loot out of it.
Deep Mine Tips and Tricks
Here is a list of tips and tricks that will help you in your Deep Mine exploration:
- Go down the Deep Mine in the morning because your player will get tired, and his stamina will immensely decrease after 12. Hence, visiting it at the start of the day will get you more time to explore.
- You do not have to swim in the waters in Deep Mine. Simply walk on the edges of it, and you will circle around the water. It helps keep your stamina intact and faster than enemies.
- You can kill bats by jumping and clicking the attack button.
- You can use your Basic Torch by pressing the Action button.
- You can make your own pathways, and nothing is blocked. The huge stone walls can be broken using your pickaxe.
