Those wanting to play some Xbox Live games over the weekend have had a hard day, as several gamers have reported huge troubles. As a result of this partial outage, customers will be unable to access digital information in general, not simply internet connection.
These Xbox Live problems began earlier today with streaming apps like Netflix and Disney+, with their content being unavailable for almost four hours on these programs. New difficulties arose soon after the fix implementation. Users are unable to buy digital games from the Xbox store or begin sessions using Cloud Gaming at this time for reasons that are as yet unclear. This, however, is just the beginning.
Microsoft’s cloud gaming service and the ability to acquire new titles are unavailable to all Xbox customers. Even if a digital game is entirely downloaded or an Xbox Game Pass title that has previously been played for hours is attempted to load, gamers may be unable to begin the game. Although the official @XboxSupport Twitter account has stated that the issue review is underway and a patch is now in the works, this is a major concern.
This morning, @XboxSupport announced that the issues were gone. However, it seems that the solution was just temporary. Tweeted only three hours earlier that players could go back to playing their favorite Xbox titles, a post said that the same issues with game launches and purchases have returned. Additionally, no new cloud gaming sessions are available at the moment. Players should keep a watch on social media for updates on a repair since no date has been given.
